Urban Salisbury, Inc. is an economic development partnership organized under the auspices of the National Trust Main Street Center, a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Maryland Main Street program of the Department of Housing and Community Development.  

The City of Salisbury obtained a Main Street accreditation to enrich the economy and quality of life in Downtown Salisbury.

Our Downtown has five neighborhoods – Development, North Prong, Office-Institutional, Old Town and West Side – almost 262 acres spread over about 16 square miles.

Urban Salisbury, Inc. operates  under an enhanced Main Street model.  We have four Main Street Committees who are guided by of the Board of Directors; Design, Economic Development, Promotion and Organization.
